Considering the cross border energy concept of Bogatić and Bijeljina, and in accordance with the assessment and calculation of data related to the energy needs for both settlements, feasibility studies have been made for both areas. The feasibility study will show results and suggest measures to enable implementation of use of renewable sources in both areas.
 
These two concept areas, and their municipalities, are geographically the same. The climate and layout of settlements provide similar conditions for production of biomass and use of solar energy.
 
Since Bijeljina has more inhabitants than Bogatić, and a bigger territory, a method of comparison per capita was used.
