About Directorate for Construction and Development of the City

Public Enterprise ‘Directorate for Construction and Development of the City’ was founded as a public enterprise in 2004, for performing jobs related to obtaining and planning of city building land, organising and running investments important for the Municipality, as well as implementing activities to protect and improve the environment.

Founder of the enterprise, the Municipality, now the City of Bijeljina, owns 100% of the share capital.

Pursuant to the law, the enterprise adjusted the legal form of its organisation into the Public Enterprise ‘Directorate for Construction and Development of the City’, a limited liability company (single member). The property of the enterprise is still state-owned.

The Enterprise holds the following licences issued by the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology in Banja Luka:

Licence for preparation of spatial planning documentation – strategic spatial planning documentation;
Licence for preparation of technical documentation for buildings for which the authorities of the municipality administration issue the building approvals – civil engineering construction and hydro-technical construction, and for buildings for which the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology issues the building approvals – architectural construction, structural construction, part of mechanical construction, part of electrical construction – installation of high voltage and power plants, and traffic signalisation construction;
Licence for audit of technical documentation for buildings for which the authorities of the municipality administration issue the building approvals – hydro-technical construction, part of electrical construction, installation of high voltage and power plants, installation of low voltage, telecommunications and automation for buildings for which the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology issues the building approvals – architectural construction, structural construction, civil engineering construction and part of mechanical construction, area of thermotechnics, installation of heating, gas, ventilation and air conditioning.
