FIRST PHASE OF PUBLIC LIGHTING RECONSTRUCTION SOON TO BE COMPLETED
The works of the first phase of public lighting reconstruction, which involves replacing existing bulbs with LED technology lights, are in the final stage, as noted at the meeting between the Mayor of Bijeljina, Ljubiša Petrović, and representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), who are jointly implementing this project in Bijeljina.
In this phase of the project, around 4,000 LED lights are planned to be installed in the city's streets.
By switching to LED lighting technology, significant savings in electrical energy are achieved, with considerably better illumination, so the implementation of this project will not only result in economic benefits but also in environmental outcomes.
