Bijeljina is once again one of the cities where the Days of Francophonie will be celebrated this year. The program in our city will be held on Tuesday, 25 March 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Sokolski Dom (Knez Ivo od Semberije Street).
 
During the evening dedicated to the culture of the French-speaking world, the Swiss comedy “Ciao-ciao bourbine” will be screened, followed by a tasting of specialties from this country and poetry reading in French.
 
This event is an opportunity for the residents of Semberija to get closer to the rich culture of Francophone countries. On this evening, the guests of our city will include the ambassadors of Switzerland, Belgium, and France, as well as the director of the French Institute.
 
In addition to the three embassies, the City of Bijeljina is a co-organizer of this event and invites students learning French, French language teachers/professors, and all the citizens of Bijeljina to be part of this cultural manifestation to experience the atmosphere of the countries where French is spoken.
