Section work reports
Annual work report of the Section for Local Economic Development and European Integration (hereinafter: Section for LED and EI), contains information on the completion of tasks and work results of the Section, with a scope of work detailed in the Rulebook on organisation and classification of jobs in the City Administration of the City of Bijeljina.
Section for LED and EI is an independent organisational unit of the City Administration of the City of Bijeljina in accordance with the Rulebook on organisation and classification of jobs in the City Administration of the City of Bijeljina, published in the Official Gazette of the City of Bijeljina, number 04/2018 dated 15 February 2018. It is an organisational unit which coordinates planning and implementation of projects and actively cooperates with all departments of the City Administration of the City of Bijeljina, and it is responsible for keeping and regular updating of databases which are a base for analysis, identification of projects and their application.
One of the important tasks of the Section for LED and EI is to gather all relevant stakeholders in the community and to cooperate with them, as well as establishing and managing public-private dialogue. Section for LED and EI is also responsible for preparation, proposal and implementation of numerous projects and measures related to the improvement of economic, social and cultural life. Specific responsibilities include care for projects related to energy efficiency, as well as activities related to renewal of BFC certificate.
Section for LED and EI is also responsible for monitoring the EU integration process, including presentation of potentials of the City and cooperation with donors, coordination of work with them and preparation of project proposals for EU pre-accession funds (IPA). In addition to the tasks which include presentation and promotion of the City’s potentials when contacting domestic and foreign institutions and donors, the Section for LED and EI successfully implemented a series of activities and projects significant for the development and promotion of the City.
